Finding community is one of the best things that any person with an intersex variation can do. Thankfully, our communities exist online as much as they do face-to-face. Social distancing no longer means foregoing all forms of social engagement - and online contact is even more important for many of us.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, IHRA and Intersex Peer Support Australia (IPSA) are holding regular weekly catch-ups for people with intersex variations in our region.

Meeting dates and times are now updated, and their frequency increased: we meet via the Zoom teleconferencing app, each Tuesday and Thursday lunchtime. Now that daylight saving has ended, meetings are at 1pm in ACT, NSW, Queensland, Tasmania and Victoria.

UPDATE: from 1 July, now that the lockdowns are ending in most places, we're shifting back to a once a week session on Thursdays.

For access details, either join IPSA or join the IHRA friends and members Facebook group.
