The National Police Certificate (NPC) check as it is carried out in Tasmania

The Tasmanian Police policy on security checks is close to ideal. Information is only provided to the applicant and the applicant is always the person who is the subject of the check. Third parties may insist on viewing the check as a part of their employment protocols but whether they are shown it is at the discretion of the applicant.

Tasmania does not refer to the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) when conducting criminal history checks.
