Intersex Human Rights Australia is keen to receive expressions of interest in becoming a member of our board. Applications need to be received no later than 15 December 2020. Applications will be reviewed by the Executive Directors and presented to a Board Meeting for consideration in early 2021.
Today we are 10! Intersex Human Rights Australia Ltd was formally incorporated as a not-for-profit company on 6 May 2010, under the name OII Australia. Today we celebrate 10 years of advocacy and work to ensure that the human rights and health of people with intersex variations are recognised and respected.
This weekend, IHRA held a strategic planning day in Williamstown, Melbourne, followed on Sunday 17 November by our AGM in Altona and a Family Day at Altona Homestead.

The Board of OII Australia is excited to announce that, after many years of operating entirely through the work of volunteers, our two co-chairs will become our joint Executive Directors as of 1 December 2016.
Changes at the 2015 AGM and a subsequent board meeting include the election of Tony Briffa, Morgan Carpenter, Candice Cody and Alex David to the board. Morgan and Tony are appointed co-chairs. Alex is secretary, and Candice is treasurer.
