InterLink psychosocial support service secures national recognition for safety and quality

Today we celebrate 12 years of visionary leadership from Dr Morgan Carpenter, who has steered the evolution of what began as OII Australia, became Intersex Human Rights Australia, and now operates proudly as InterAction for Health and Human Rights.

Ten years since the first Parliamentary inquiry report on intersex health and well-being!

Ten years ago today, on 25 October 2013, a Senate Committee published a report on the ‘Involuntary or coerced sterilisation of intersex people in Australia’. This was the first parliamentary inquiry into intersex health anywhere in the world, and we celebrate it for this!

Our Australian staff and board live and work on First Nations lands. We recognise that sovereignty over this land was never ceded and that this always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
