Intersex advocacy at the UN 26th Human Rights Council

OII Australia has begun to participate in international action on SOGI and LGBTI issues, with the aim of promoting a better of understanding of intersex issues, and working towards the depathologisation of intersex variations. This includes work towards the recognition and inclusion of intersex status or bodily diversity in international resolutions and frameworks.

ILGA Oceania - inaugural board

ILGA, the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association, has been an important actor in bringing together the international intersex movement.
