Partnerships
InterAction for Health and Human Rights is a proud participant in a number of networks and partnerships.
InterAction now brings together both Intersex Human Rights Australia and Intersex Peer Support Australia (AIS Support Group Australia), and we collaborate closely with Intersex Aotearoa, including as part of the Darlington Consortium. We are also an affiliate of Organisation Internationale des Intersexués (OII), a decentralised network of intersex organisations.
We are an information partner of Healthdirect Australia, a government-funded provider of equality, approved health information and advice.
We are a partner in the Interconnect Health Research project, a Medical Research Future Fund project led by Associate Professor Morgan Carpenter at the University of Sydney. Partner organisations include Canberra Health Services, UNSW, University of Southern Queensland, QIMR Berghofer, ANU, La Trobe University, UWA and The Kids Research Institute.
We are a member of the Australian Child Rights Taskforce.
We are members of LGBTI+ organisations International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA) and LGBTIQA+ Health Australia (formerly the National LGBTI Health Alliance).
We collaborate with a range of other disability and LGBTI organisations across Australia.
