The Department of Health in Western Australia has invited submissions in response to a discussion paper on proposed legislation in relation to assisted reproductive technologies and surrogacy. Our submission identifies concerns with access to treatment and in the application or utilisation of assisted reproductive technologies. We make five recommendations to eliminate discrimination and harmful practices, and support access to treatment.
