Congratulations to community member Mimi for this fantastic and intimate interview with ABC.

Mimi tells how a video by a US person with AIS helped her make sense of her own experiences. We shouldn't have to stumble on videos to do this: we should have healthcare and education systems that connect people to community, to peers and to psychosocial support. InterAction works to integrate psychosocial and peer support into respectful, non-stigmatising healthcare services.

Find out more about Mimi's trait - 17β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase deficiency (or 17-beta HSD for short) - on our InterLink Resource Hub.

Wherever you are in Australia or the region, InterLink and Intersex Peer Support Australia can connect you with psychosocial support and peers. If you're in the ACT, you can also contact A Gender Agenda.
