Stephanie is sat down on a couch in this interview with ABC

Thank you to Stephanie for this intimate and sometimes raw interview with ABC about growing up with a form of congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH for short).

"There as a lot of shame about not being born 'normal'… if I said anything it just gave it all away" "It's normal to be different!"

Stephanie talks about her experience of bullying at school, and her journal to being herself.

Congenital adrenal hyperplasia, or CAH, is a group of traits that affects the adrenal glands. There are many forms of CAH, including forms with XX chromosomes and forms with XY chromosomes.

Find out more about CAH on the InterLink Resource Hub.

Connect with other folks with the same trait and other innate variations, via InterLink and Intersex Peer Support Australia.
