Express interest in InterMission retreat for advocates, 14-16 August, SE Queensland

Do you want to get involved in advocacy? Are you already involved and want to get community connected? We have funding for an advocacy-focused retreat. Express interest in participating from 14-16 August in Tamborine Mountain, SE Queensland. Accommodation and food are funded, and we have some funding available for people on low incomes to travel to the event.

Morgan Carpenter: "intersex and ageing"

A speech given on intersex and ageing to a local NSW audience on Monday 2 February by Morgan Carpenter. It follows the 2012 publication of an intersex-inclusive national strategy for LGBTI ageing and aged care. A massive subsequent shift in terminology from LGBT to LGBTI hasn't been matched by an increase in understanding or action.

Our Australian staff and board live and work on First Nations lands. We recognise that sovereignty over this land was never ceded and that this always was and always will be Aboriginal land. We acknowledge the continued connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to land, waterways and community and pay our respects to all First Nations people.
