In a recent South Park episode the creators chose to portray Donald Trump with a small penis. Whatever your views on Trump- politically or personally, the widespread acceptance of mocking someone’s genitals is a toxic and deeply entrenched for of body shaming. Body shaming—especially when it targets traits linked to marginalised communities—is never harmless. We can challenge injustice without resorting to ridicule rooted in physical traits.

On 2 May, Steph Lum (editor of the YOUth&I magazine) performed the poem Graduation Day as part of Equality Australia's Queer Love In. The event was an afternoon of performance to support LGBTI artists who have lost income due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Anick talks in a series of video and audio features with the BBC about his life, meeting other intersex people and his final surgery. Anick and Morgan (IHRA) were also interviewed by RightsInfo.
In November 2017, SBS Insight screened a program on the medicalisation of intersex people. Several IHRA members and directors participated, as well as parents and clinicians. The full episode is available to view online.
